What does wildlynx.ai do?

wildlynx.ai is my Sunshine Coast consultancy, working where computing hardware, software and engineering meet. I help businesses save time with AI automation, build new AI-powered software, and explore AI in engineering work, such as taking a drawing towards a design and bill of materials.

Do I need to know anything about AI to get started?

No. The first conversation is about your business, not the technology. You describe the jobs that take too long or the idea you want to build, and we work out together whether AI is a good fit, what it would cost and what you would get back.

Where is wildlynx.ai based?

I am based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and available to businesses across Noosa, Maroochydore, Caloundra, Gympie and Brisbane. I can meet you in person on the Coast or online anywhere in Australia.

Is my business data safe with AI tools?

Most AI tools send the content they work on to an AI model provider, so choosing the right provider and settings for your data is part of every project. I keep access limited to what the automation needs, keep it reviewable, and talk you through where your data goes before anything is switched on. Sensitive steps, such as paying a bill or sending a quote, can always wait for a person to approve them.

Are the demos on this site real software?

They are interactive concept demos. The three Engineering Studios, Network, Water and Energy, run in your browser as storyboards of what AI for engineering could do. I designed and built them myself. They are not products for sale or design tools, and any figures in them are illustrative, not quotes. Network Studio is illustrated on a publicly available reference drawing set. Other examples are clearly labelled as demos.

How much does an AI project cost?

It depends on the job. I start with a free conversation and a small, fixed-scope first step, so you can see real results before committing to anything bigger.

Business automation

What kinds of tasks can AI automate for a small business?

Good candidates are repetitive jobs with a clear pattern: entering invoices into accounting software, copying enquiry details into a CRM, sorting and answering routine email, building weekly reports and keeping two systems in sync. If a person follows the same steps every time, it is worth a look.

Will automation replace my staff?

The aim is to take the copying and re-keying off people’s plates so they can do the work only they can do. The automation handles the routine cases and passes anything unusual to a person.

Does it work with the software I already use?

Usually, yes. AI agents can work through a program’s connections where they exist, or through the same screens a person uses where they do not. The first step is checking what your systems allow.

Custom software

What can you build?

Internal tools, customer-facing web apps, AI agents that carry out multi-step tasks, and software that connects to hardware and sensors. The three Engineering Studios on this site, concept storyboards I built for cabling and Wi-Fi, water and energy, give a glimpse of how I think.

How do projects start?

With a short conversation, then a small working prototype. You see and test the idea early, and only commit to a full build once it has proved its value.

Who owns the software?

Ownership is agreed up front for each project and written into the agreement before work starts.

AI for engineering

What does AI do in engineering design?

The idea is for it to take on the slow, repetitive parts: reading drawings, counting and placing devices, measuring cable runs, building the bill of materials and a first budget. The engineer stays in charge of the decisions and checks the result.

Is this only for structured cabling?

No. Structured cabling and networks are the first worked example because they are measurable and easy to check. The same approach could suit any work with slow, repeatable steps, such as security, audio-visual, electrical and other building services, monitoring, IoT and getting older controllers talking to new systems.

Are the prices in the demo real?

No. The concept demo uses editable, illustrative demonstration rates so you can see how a change in the design flows through to the budget. They are not quotes. A real project would use your own rates and supplier pricing.

Does my data leave the building?

It doesn’t have to. I can set AI up to run on your own hardware, so drawings, prices and client details stay in your office. Cloud AI is there for the jobs that need it.

I’m not sure AI fits my work. Where do I start?

With one small, safe workflow. I help you pick the job that wastes the most time, try it in a bounded way, and you decide if it’s worth going further.

Curious what AI could do?

Tell me about the job that takes too long or the idea you keep coming back to. A first conversation is free, and you will come away knowing whether AI is worth it for you.
